16 Week Challenge, Can I do it?

I met Andrew online via Facebook. We officially started communicating when I made a comment on a domestic violence (dv) post Andrew posted a link to. I sent him an e-mail exlaining my situation and how I felt lost, overwhelmed and unsure of what direction I’m heading in. He responded immediately and in that phone call advised me on several things I can do to start making changes and instructed me on the next 2-3 things I should do. I followed his advise and am now focusing on helping women overcome dv and regain their independence. At least now I know what direction I'm heading.

Andrew invited me to join his 16 week challenge. When I read what it was about and I saw what he was doing I was immediately excited and not only did I want to participate, but I also wanted to help out in whatever capacity I could. (There is a African proverb that states, each one teach one ) And I felt likethis was the principle Andrew was drawing from, where as a collective we can all succeed.

Now, as I started to think of my challenge it started to grow, (I never do anything small and I tend to dream BIG! lol…) Albert Einstein once said” Six degrees of serperation seperates us from anyone in the world., could I only be 6 degrees from reaching my 16 week challenge? I will do everything I can and ask for any and all assistance to help me reach this goal. 16 Weeks is not long, but when you have nothing to lose and everything to gain, miracles can happen! I expect a miracle.

Today I didn’t do much, I felt like crap. I’ve been fighting a cold, but the cold seems to have won, but I will not use that as an excuse like I have before. Let’ see what tomorrow brings.

From Foreclosure to Millionaire in 16 weeks can it be done?

Have you ever felt so profoundly lost! A loss of who you are. What you’re doing or where you’re going? Unsure of what you are doing, or where you’re headed and you ask yourself, how the heck did you get here!

Well, for the first time in my life I felt so completely lost. Somehow I had lost myself. I had no idea what I was doing, what I wanted to do, or what direction I was heading in, or even wanted to go. While web surfing one day I came across a video of a man who was homeless and he was preforming to the song Under Pressure, by David Bowie and Queen. As I watched the video and paid close attention to the lyrics of the song, I realized I was “under pressure” My house is in Foreclosure, my student loan is more than some real estate properties at this moment, and I owe a few friends and family members as well. How did I get here? It’s not that I was in denial, but I have a glass half full personality and always look at the positive bright side of life. I guess everything took its toll one week and I just felt as if I was that little hamster in the cage just spinning her wheels and going nowhere.
I rarely if ever, ask for help and I guess everything just took its toll and I was just overwhelmed. I had to admit to myself that I am not o.k. I was drowning and there were no life rafts near for me to reach out to. I knew that I needed help sorting out all the clutter in my head.

What do you do when your life is spinning out of control and you’re stuck between a rock and a hard place and you have nothing left to lose? Albert Einstein once said that the definition of “Insanity” Is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Well, when you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired and nothing you’ve done in the past has changed your current circumstances, then I think it’s time for a new approach.

I am embarking on a new approach and will post on here weekly (I am working on daily, but for now I can commit to once a week.) as to my status.
